  3. Meta finds other users who share similar traits
  4. You target those new users with your ads

Good seed audiences include:

  • Customer email lists
  • Website purchasers
  • High-value customers
  • Email subscribers
  • Video viewers (75%+ completion)

Audience Size

You can choose how closely matched you want your Lookalike:

  • 1% = Most similar (smaller audience)
  • 5% = Moderately similar
  • 10% = Broadly similar (larger audience)

We typically start with 1-3% Lookalikes for best performance.
